ABOUT THE GRANT
In 2025, the Loeb Foundation supported Rainbow with $6,000 for engineering, permits, and meters to connect the Rainbow facility to Haymarket town water, since the rising numbers of participants (100 weekly plus their families = 300 people weekly) made it impossible to operate with a private well that has to be managed to public facility VA State standards.
The Loeb Foundation supported Rainbow Therapeutic Riding with $2,800 in 2024 for 20 new riding helmets.
In 2018 Loeb supported the new barn and education building at Rainbow with $50,000, additionally gave $8,000 2020 for the HVAC to make the Loft operational year round for unmounted lessons.
“The Loeb Foundation is a premier community partner, consistently supporting area nonprofits when they need it most. Working with the foundation is refreshingly straightforward and collaborative. Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center has received funding from the Loeb Foundation for a variety of important projects—from replacing our heavily used riding helmets to ensure student safety, to making infrastructure improvements that enabled us to double the number of individuals we can serve through our life-changing programs. We are deeply grateful for the Loeb Foundation’s support.“
